Philosophy

When Jane Brady, AuD opened Horizon, she set out to make it the most caring and professional audiology center around. Our patients think we've succeeded. We hope you will, too.

Jane's commitment to audiology extends beyond the office to free hearing screenings at health fairs, and volunteering at “Ask the Doctor” programs in senior centers. She is proud to be a “Hear Now” provider of hearing aids for less fortunate here and overseas. You feel that committed attitude throughout the office.

Staff

Jane BradyJANE BRADY, AuD

Dr. Jane Brady is the Owner and Director of Horizon Audiology. She has been an audiologist for 24 years. She earned her undergraduate degree at Trenton State College and her master’s degree from The Pennsylvania State University. Her first position as an audiologist was in Princeton, NJ under the tutelage of the first female NJ State licensed Audiologist, Emily White. Dr. Brady obtained her necessary hearing aid dispensing NJ State license under Emily White’s careful and knowledgeable guidance. In that capacity, she began her quest for private practice ownership. Her first job was in the private practice that Emily White owned, PENTA Hearing Care. Dr. Brady was affiliated with, through PENTA, several ENT physician groups in the Princeton area. She worked with pre and post-operative patients, those suffering from dizziness and imbalance and those diagnosed with auto-immune disorders causing hearing loss. In addition, she treated many of these patients with hearing aid and assistive listening devices.

After a few years, she had the opportunity to return to JFK Medical Center, in Edison NJ as part of the audiology and Neuroscience Institute. She had previously completed a 15 week internship there as part of her graduate studies. In the role of audiologist at JFK, she spent a great deal of time working with the dizzy patient and those under treatment for balance issues due to vertigo and dizziness. She and her fellow audiologists worked closely in the rehabilitation department with neuro otologists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists and physiatrists in a team approach while treating in patient and out patients.

She returned to a more medical focus in 1996, working as one of the audiologists at Princeton Otolaryngology until 2007. At that time, she felt prepared to pursue her dream, an independently operated private audiology practice. Dr. Brady has worked tirelessly since that time to develop an audiology model incorporating caring, one to one individual focus for each and every patient that walks into her doors. She has hired a staff of highly motivated personnel who share her vision for unique, individual hearing care.

We hope you come to see us. We look forward to serving your hearing needs and the needs of your family.
